<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a millimeter wave radar device that reduces side lobe transmitted from an antenna, prevents occurrence of load clutter, efficiently transmits only electric wave to be used as main lobe to an object, and accurately detects relative distance or the like from the object. <P>SOLUTION: The millimeter wave radar device 1 has the antenna 10 for transmitting and receiving electric wave, a radome 31 for covering the antenna 10, and an electric wave absorber 51 arranged on the surface 31b of the radome 31.
