PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive to improve the smoothness of the movement of a binder and the ease of its loading in a binder cartridge used in a binding processing device. SOLUTION: Groove type guide rails 7 and 8 are respectively provided on the tray 2 of the binder cartridge 1 and on an upper-side sliding cover 3. Both the sides of split ring parts of a binder 101 are supported by a guide groove at the middle of the guide rails. The provision of an interval between the upper and the lower guide rails gives a guide groove to the backbone part of the binder, resulting in vertically positioning of the binder. The widths of the guide groove of the ring part and that of the backbone part only near the binder taking-out port at the front face of the cartridge are nearly equal to the lateral width of the ring part of the binder and to the vertical width of the backbone part, while the widths of the remaining portions are made wider, since the width of the guide groove except at the front end part has elbow room, the frictional resistance at the movement of the binder is few and the binder moves smoothly and consequently the loading properties of the binder are favorable.
