A fuel leakage prevention apparatus for an LPI(Liquefied Petroleum Injection) engine is provided to prevent hydro carbon from being increased in exhaust gas by controlling the amount of LPG fuel injected through an injector. A fuel leakage prevention apparatus for an LPI engine comprises an injector(3) arranged in an intake system of an engine(1), and injects LPG fuel; a fuel bombe(5) for storing LPG fuel to be provided to the injector; a supply line(7) and a return line(9) for connecting the injector and the fuel bombe so as to supply and return LPG fuel; a flow channel open/shut valve(11) arranged in a fuel supply and return path where the injector is mounted, so that the flow channel open/shut valve opens/shuts in accordance with ignition on/off; and a control unit(13) for controlling the injection timing and injection amount of LPG fuel injected through the injector in accordance with a vehicle travel condition, and controlling opening/shutting of the flow channel open/shut valve in accordance with ignition on/off.
