PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily substitute another computer module for a management computer module by a simple hardware configuration. SOLUTION: In occurrence of a failure in a computer module 101 (the management computer module), when a computer module 111 (a temporary management computer module) inputs a failure notification via a failure notification path 301, load information is inputted from the computer modules 111-1n1 via a management information transfer path 400, and an instruction for operating as a management proxy computer module is outputted to a module having a minimum load. The computer module 111 (or one among the computer modules 111-1n1) inputting the instruction for operating as the management proxy computer module operates as the management computer module.
