PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat load detecting device for a vehicle capable of improving detection accuracy of a vertical load applied to a seat cushion. SOLUTION: A load sensor 47 is arranged under the seat cushion at a central part in the seat cross direction. Links 32 and 37 and links 38 and 39 are arranged on both sides in the seat cross direction to support lower arms 41 and 42 forming a frame of the seat cushion. A right bracket 15 and a left bracket 16 convert the vertical load applied to the links 32 and 37 and the links 38 and 39 to each of loads in the seat cross direction. A right link 51 and a left link 52 respectively transmits the load in the seat cross direction converted by the right bracket 15 and the left bracket 16 to the load sensor 47. The load sensor 47 detects compression or tensile load due to the load in the seat cross direction transmitted from the right link 51 and the left link 52. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
