Provided is a method for anion polymerization termination of a nonpolar conjugated diene polymer, which uses a polymerization terminator not coupled to active terminals of the polymer, while not causing discoloration and production of a base material. The method for anion polymerization termination of a nonpolar conjugated diene polymer comprises a step of adding a Lewis acid as a polymerization terminator to a reaction mixture for preparing a conjugated diene polymer in the presence of an organic alkali metal compound as an anion polymerization initiator. The organic alkali metal compound includes an organic lithium compound. The conjugated diene monomer is at least one selected from the group consisting of 1,3-butadiene, isoprene, piperylene, methyl pentadiene, phenyl butadiene, 3,4-dimethyl-1,3-hexadiene and 4,5-diethyl-1,3-octadiene.
