<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel lid opener and its mounting method improving the mounting performance of the fuel lid opener including mounting of a lock mechanism into a mounting hole of a fuel lid box by allowing the lock mechanism to be mounted into the mounting hole from the outside of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: An opener cable 50 has first and second cables 51, 52 formed of divided push-pull wires, and one end of the first cable 51 is connected to a fuel lid operating part 30, while one end of the second cable 52 is connected to the lock mechanism 40. The lock mechanism 40 is constituted to be mountable into the mounting hole 10c from the outside of the vehicle after the second cable 52 connected to the lock mechanism 40 is inserted into the mounting hole 10c of the fuel lid box 10 from the outside of the vehicle, and an intermediate joint 60 is provided for connecting the other ends of the first and second cables 51, 52 to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
