An easily attachable and detachable device for preventing coil damage is provided to improve transportation efficiency of the coil and secure safety of the coil by preventing damage or deformation of the coil generated in a process of transporting a coil and removably installing coil supporting members with magnetism generators at both sides of the coil. A device(100) for preventing coil damage comprises: a pair of coil supporting members(110) which have catching projections(112) projected to an inner side of a coil to lift up the coil, bodies(111) vertically formed at ends of the catching projections, and receiving parts(113) formed in the bodies; manual magnetism generators(120) which are inserted into the receiving parts to hold the coil supporting members to side faces of the coil by generating magnetism according to the operation of an operator; and protection pads(130) formed on upper portions of the catching projections to prevent the coil from being damaged or deformed when the catching projections contact with an inner diameter portion of the coil.
