A sidewalk block for the visually handicapped is provided to guide the visually handicapped to walk more safely by letting the visually handicapped recognize the location of a sidewalk block with sound. The sidewalk block(B) for the visually handicapped comprises a main body(10) made of plastics, opened upward and provided with a space(12) inward; a cover(20) made of cement or concrete and put on the top of the main body to be isolated from the outside, many sounders(30) composed of a structure made of soft synthetic resin and an inlet-cum-outlet(34) formed on the structure, and installed to the space of the main body, supports installed at the appointed height from four corners of the space of the main body and provided with a cutoff plate, and springs(50) inserted to the supporters to restore the cover and the sounders to the original state using restoring force. |
