A method for providing moving picture contents by using a flash moving picture is provided to offer natural moving pictures by using a flash moving picture conversion server which compresses inputted images and converts them into a streaming-type flash moving picture. A main server judges whether a signal inputted from a mobile terminal is a content registration signal or a content use signal(S17). In case the inputted signal is a content registration signal, the main server provides a list of categories, stored in a content list DB, to the mobile terminal(S19). In case an arbitrary category is selected among the provided category list(S21), the main server receives the information of contents to be registered from the mobile terminal, stores it, and updates a content list of the content list DB(S23). Then the main server receives moving picture data from the mobile terminal, converts the received moving picture data into a flash moving picture, and stores the converted moving picture(S25).
