A supporting plate for protecting a hot pipe of a refrigerator and an assembly thereof are provided to prevent movement or deviation of a hot pipe from an insertion groove without damage by fixing the hot pipe with a fixing element via a curved part. A supporting plate for protecting a hot pipe of a refrigerator includes at least one or more curved part(21) formed with an angle of 90‹ or less toward a cabinet at an end contacting the hot pipe to prevent movement or deviation of the hot pipe from an insertion groove of the cabinet, and an insertion hole(23) for inserting a predetermined fixing element such as a bolt adjacently to the curved part. When the fixing element is inserted into the insertion hole, direct contact between the fixing element and the hot pipe is prevented by the curved part. The curved part has a surface(22) contacting the hot pipe, wherein the surface is plane or in an arc shape.
