PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high performance print flat plate antenna which is high in precision, low in cost, excellent in productivity and applicable to a shorter wavelength technology, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The antenna comprising an insulation board and a conductor lines formed on the insulation board and the manufacturing method thereof are provided, and the manufacturing method of the antenna characterized in to include: a process of applying surface treatment to the surface of the insulation board including a layer containing a polyimide resin with a siloxane structure at least on the surface by means of alkali; and a process of forming the conductor lines by electroless deposition process can provide the high accuracy print antenna wherein high adhesiveness between the insulating resin material and the electroless plating film is realized.
