<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapered roller bearing capable of reducing rotary torque in a low-speed rotation area even when a diameter of a roller is increased. <P>SOLUTION: This tapered roller bearing comprises an outer ring 20, an inner ring 10, a plurality of tapered rollers 30 disposed between the outer ring and the inner ring, and a cage 40 for the tapered rollers 30. A length to a roller diameter represented by LWR/DW is within a range of 1.1-1.7, where a roller effective length is LWR, and a roller average diameter is DW. An outer ring crowning parameter(=RCO/LRO) is 30-150, and an inner ring crowning parameter(=RCI/LRI) is 50-260, where a crowning radius of the outer ring 20 is RCO, its raceway length is LRO, a crowning radius of the inner ring 10 is RCI, and its raceway length is LRI. Further when an outer ring raceway angle is α, a roller angle is γ, and a flange angle is BK, 20°≤α≤30°, and α-0.87γ-0.334≤BK≤α-0.87γ-0167 are satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
