<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device capable of realizing a high quality and stable data transmission in a system adopting an electric light line as a transmission medium. <P>SOLUTION: A communication device 511 comprises an electric light cable transmitter 501, and an electric light cable receiver 502 for transmitting and receiving data using an electric light line; a radio transmitter 503 and a radio receiver 504 for transmitting and receiving data using radio; and a transmission medium determination portion 505 for controlling the electric light cable transmitter 501, the electric light cable receiver 502, the radio transmitter 503, and the radio receiver 504, and allowing these portions to transmit and receive data, using both of the electric light cable and radio simultaneously as a transmission medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
