PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for discriminating the motion of a moving object, in which data volume to be processed is small and an inherent space where the motion of a target moving object can be discriminated from an optional direction is used. SOLUTION: In the moving object motion discriminating method using an inherent space where the motion of the target moving object is discriminated by preparing inherent space data A in advance in which each frame image data A of basic operation of the moving object is displayed as a dot in each basic operation, comparing inherent space data B in which each frame image data B of the target moving object to be discriminated with the inherent space data A and selecting the inherent space data A closest to the inherent space data B, respective frame image data A for each basic operation are obtained from motion images obtained by making a virtual person model execute basic operation and by observing the virtual person model executing the basic operation from many directions by using a virtual camera group.
