PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a person who does not know up-to-date information to retrieve the up-to-date information from past information. SOLUTION: A master database 1210 in which user names are allowed to correspond to current telephone numbers and a history database 1220 having a plurality of past telephone numbers corresponding to the master database 1210 are stored, the history database 1220 is retrieved by a user's telephone number input from an input part 1110, a current telephone number is extracted from the corresponding master database 1210, and the extracted telephone number is output from an output part 1140, so that the current telephone number can be extracted from any one of past telephone numbers and the current telephone number can be known from a past telephone number which is not always the latest telephone number.
