PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip paper for glass, having good handleability, hardly causing staining of the glass and also having good dimensional stability when used as the slip paper for glass plates used as a substrate material for flat panel display which requires cleanness and flaw quality higher than those of a window glass plate for building and a window glass plate for vehicle. SOLUTION: The slip paper for the glass, obtained by compounding≥20 mass% hemp pulp based on the whole fiber content contains≤0.1 mass% resin in the slip paper for the glass, and has≥2.6 GPa modulus as a geometrical mean of the maximum value/the minimum value.
