<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording method capable of preventing the occurrence of a difference in recording density, lightness, and saturation at the recording part of the same hue by suppressing bleeding at the boundary part of colors, and to provide a recording device, inks, and an ink cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: The ink-jet recording method is used for recording an image by depositing inks of a plurality of hues onto a recording medium 50. At least one-hue ink contains an ink having an Rf value, being a transfer rate of a color material, different from those of the inks of the other hues.
