<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the prevention in the symptom aggravation of obesity, diabetes and metabolic syndrome, the prevention in crisis, and the improvement in symptoms. <P>SOLUTION: This composition for inhibiting D-fructose concentration rise, preferably simultaneously D-glucose concentration rise, in blood, when a carbohydrate and/or a saccharide having or containing the D-fructose as a part of the structure is taken, is characterized by containing D-psicose and/or its derivative as an active ingredient. The composition, wherein the D-psicose is a mixture of D-psicose with D-fructose. The composition is a form selected from a sweetener, a seasoning, a food additive, a food material, a food or a drink, a health drink or a health food, a medicine, or a feed.
