The coil has a rod-shaped core (2), and a secondary coil body (3) provided with a coil winding (4), which is arranged around the rod-shaped core. A primary coil body has another winding, which is arranged around the coil body (3). An inner-space (8) between the rod-shaped core and the coil body (3) is completely filled with a liquid medium (5) over an entire axial length of the restrain coil, where the medium is an epoxide or oil. A covering unit functioning as a sealing unit is arranged at an upper end of the coil for covering the inner-space.
