An apparatus and a method for controlling camera alignment of a mobile terminal are provided to solve a problem of the related art that a camera of a mobile terminal is verified only for its performance without performing camera alignment and to increase the reliability of a camera test process. A pre-set subject(400) is installed at a pre-set distance from a mobile terminal(300) with a camera. When the angle of an image obtained by capturing the subject(400) is determined to be corrected, a microprocessor(100) determines a pre-set group corresponding to the captured image, calculates a correction value for correcting a camera angle based on the group, and outputs a corresponding control signal. A jig unit(200) controls alignment of the camera of the mobile terminal based on the outputted control signal.
