Golf grip system

A golf glove and grip system, and method for assisting a golfer to correctly position their hands are disclosed. A golf glove has a marking (210) on the thumb portion that in use is aligned with a marking on a golf club grip to indicate a correct top hand thumb position. Further embodiments include additional markings for further aligning the golfer's hands on the grip.
