摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor having less short circuit failure, and is excellent in electric characteristic and productivity. SOLUTION: In the solid electrolytic capacitor, conductive polymer is formed on the surface of a dielectric oxide film by a chemical polymerization process in which a capacitor anode body having the dielectric oxide film having a dielectric oxide film formed on the surface of a sintered body formed of a valve action metal powder is immersed in an oxidant solution and a monomer solution alternately, and then, polymerization is performed. The chemical polymerization process is any one of a process of performing immersion in the oxidant solution and drying once, and then, repeating a plurality of times of immersion in the monomer solution and polymerization; a process of repeating a plurality of immersion in the oxidant solution and drying, and then, performing immersion in the monomer solution and polymerization once; or a process of repeating a plurality of times of immersion in the oxidant solution and drying, and then, repeating a plurality of times of immersion in the monomer solution and polymerization.
