PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator enhancing usability and energy saving capability. SOLUTION: This refrigerator includes: a storage room 3 having a front opening closed by a drawer type door 6; a first packing material 16 arranged in a peripheral part of an inner plate 6a of the door 6 for closing the inside of the storage room 3; and a fin-shaped packing material 17 arranged in the inner periphery side of the door 6 relative to the first packing material 16 and located between the storage room 3 and the first packing material 16. The refrigerator is so structured that a groove part 19 is formed on the inner plate 6a and the fin-shaped packing material 16 is engaged with and mounted to the groove part 19.
