PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decomposition and recovery system for isocyanate compounds, quickly dispersing isocyanate compounds in high pressure high temperature water without making a reactor long and slender and thereby increasing recovery efficiency of isocyanate compound materials and derivatives thereof. SOLUTION: The decomposition and recovery system for isocyanate compounds is composed of a reactor 1 for contacting the isocyanate compound with high pressure high temperature water and performing decomposition reaction, a water feed line 2 for continuously feeding the high pressure high temperature water to the reactor 1, a compound feed line 3 communicating, through a switching valve 8, with the vicinity of the communication part of the water feed line 2 to the reactor 1 and feeding the isocyanate compounds to the water feed line 2 in a melt state or a solution state, a dehydrating tower 5 for dehydrating the decomposition reaction products discharged from the reactor 1, and a vacuum distillation column 7 for purifying the dehydrated decomposition reaction products.
