PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish a tire air pressure measurement system and a tire air pressure measurement method capable of performing removal of unrequired abnormality warning and accurately measuring an air pressure. SOLUTION: The tire air pressure measurement system is obtained by adding improvement to a tire air pressure measurement system for measuring the air pressure of the tire. In the present system, a sensor unit installed on the tire and measuring/transmitting the air pressure of the tire and an on-vehicle unit installed in a cabin and communicated with the sensor unit at radio are provided. Further, the on-vehicle unit is provided with a suspension displacement measurement part for measuring a displacement of a suspension of the tire; an acceleration measurement part for measuring acceleration; a correction part for correcting the air pressure from the sensor unit by measurement results of the suspension displacement measurement part and the acceleration measurement part; and an abnormality determination part for performing low pass-filtering the data of the air pressure corrected by the correction part and determining the state of the air pressure.
