<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure user operation convenience while effectively using electric power stored in an auxiliary power supply by performing rising control of a fixing section corresponding to the power storage amount of the auxiliary power supply. <P>SOLUTION: An operation control section performs control so as to drive a first fixing heater and a second fixing heater, when the main switch of a complex machine is turned on (YES in S1) and it is discriminated that the electric storage amount of an electric double layer capacitor reaches an electric power amount obtained by adding together an electric power amount P1 required for rapidly raising the fixing section and an electric power amount P2 required for auxiliary heating during image recording by a state discriminating section (YES in S2). The operation control section performs control so as to continuously charge the electric double layer capacitor (S24), when the electric storage amount of the electric double layer capacitor is below the electric power amount obtained by adding the above-mentioned electric power amounts P1 and P2 together (NO in the S2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
