PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To harvest crops such as onion in high efficiency by harvesting 4 rows of crops at the same time. SOLUTION: The crop harvester is provided with a leaf and stalk pick-up mechanism 2 to collectively pick up the leaves and stalks of two rows of crops, upper and lower pull-out mechanisms 3, 4 to clamp the leaves and stalks of two rows of crops picked up with the leaf and stalk pick-up mechanisms at an upper and a lower parts and pull out the crops from the ridge and transfer the crops, a cutting mechanism 5 to separate the leaves and stalks of the crop from its scaly bulb in the course of transfer of the crop with the upper and lower pull-out mechanisms, and a traveling body 6. The traveling body has a pair of right and left crawler traveling devices 9 and a machine frame 12 supported in a vertically movable manner on the wheel-supporting bed 10 of the right and left crawler traveling devices through a lateral shaft 11. The machine frame is provided with pairs of the stalk pick-up mechanisms, the upper and lower pull-out mechanisms and the cutting mechanisms on the right and left sides, respectively, and an operator's seat to enable visual inspection of the working part of the stalk pick-up mechanism is placed on the wheel supporting bed of the crawler traveling device and above either one of the right and left crawler traveling devices.
