VEHICLE SURROUNDING MONITORING DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle surrounding monitoring device with a simple configuration capable of detecting a dangerous object around a vehicle and informing a user about a degree of danger.

SOLUTION: The device includes: an imaging means for photographing the surrounding of the vehicle; a first object position detection means for detecting a position of an object existing around the vehicle from a photographed image; a vehicle position detection means for detecting a position of the vehicle; a second object position detection means for detecting the position of the object existing around the vehicle; a dangerous object discrimination means that discriminates whether or not the object is a dangerous object to the vehicle on the basis of the position of the vehicle detected by the first and second object position detection means and the position of the vehicle detected by the vehicle position detection means; and a dangerous object information recording medium for recording the discriminated position of the dangerous object as dangerous object information together with the position of the vehicle.
