PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit and receive large-volume data between an external device and a main body (electric equipment), and to supply sufficient electric power to an external device such as a remote controller or the like. SOLUTION: As the external device 10 of the electric equipment (the main body) 1, a device 10 for forwarding a control signal and data to the main body 1 is connected to a connecting port 2 provided in the main body 1, or to a connecting port 2 provided in a connecting device 7 coupled to the main body 1 by means of a transmitting medium 8. In the connecting port 2, there are provided a data communicating connection part 3 and an electric power supplying connection part 4. A data communicating connection part 13 and an electric power supplying connection part 14 which are provided in the external device 10 side are connected to each other, thus enabling two-way communication between the external device 10 and the main body 1.
