A seal cutting apparatus for manufacturing a cold cathode fluorescent lamp is provided to reduce installing area and to improve equipment operation efficiency by providing and transferring a lamp that is vertically arranged. A frame(103) is provided on a base(101). A rotational spider(110) is installed at an upper of the frame. A plurality of upper grippers(120) and a multiplicity of lower grippers(130) are installed at a circumference of the rotational spider. A transfer unit(140) is installed at an outer of the rotational spider. Plural burners(161) are arranged at an upper of the frame along a circumferential direction in order to being approached to the upper and lower gripers. A cutter(163) is arranged around the closest burner. The upper and lower grippers transfer a lamp in a vertical state to reduce installing area of a seal cutting apparatus.
