PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buried radio device used for a cover attached underground space structure. SOLUTION: The underground space structure for the buried radio device comprises: an underground space; a metal cover 1; and a radiation face 2 including an annular area made of a radio wave transmission structural material for surrounding the cover 1. The buried radio device includes: an underground antenna 5a located in the underground space and apart from the cover 1; and a radio device connected to the antenna 5a. The buried radio device includes: a surface antenna; and the radio device connected to the antenna.
