<p>The invention relates in particular to a hydroxyl apatite/silica granular material of defined morphology, a highly porous bone substitute material based on this granular material and a glass ceramic material based in turn thereon as bone substitute material which is characterized by a variable mechanical strength, and shaped bodies of this material, materials of different mechanical strength being preferably used in the shaped body. The bone substitute materials according to the invention are characterized by a high resorbability in vivo.</p> |
