<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming apparatus by which a printed matter has designated glossiness just by designating optional required glossiness without allowing a user to consider the glossiness of paper being a printing object. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus achieves the glossiness of the printed matter desired by the user by measuring the glossiness of printing paper every time printing is performed (S1) and controlling the amount of transparent toner to be used according to the glossiness (S3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
