<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual inspection device for agricultural products capable of detecting accurately a vine crack in the agricultural product having an axis. <P>SOLUTION: This visual inspection device is provided with an irradiation means L2 for irradiating an axis J side surface of the agricultural product N with light belonging to an infrared area, an imaging means 3 for imaging the agricultural product N irradiated with the light from the irradiation means L2, a particle analytical processing means 13 for extracting an axis j part from an original image imaged by the imaging means 3, by particle analytical processing, an expansion processing means 15 for expanding an outline shape of the axis j part extracted by the particle analytical processing means 13, to obtain an expansion image J', a mask processing means 16 for mask-processing the image obtained by the particle analytical processing means 13, with the expansion image J' of the axis j part obtained by the expansion processing means 15, and a vine crack determination means 17 for detecting the vine crack in the agricultural product, based on the image mask-processed by the mask processing means 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
