摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner surface coating apparatus for steel pipe densely and uniformly coating the inner surface of a steel pipe unable to form sufficiently large openings at both ends or the inner surface of a profile steel pipe largely different in its diameter over the whole region, and an inner surface coating method for steel pipe. SOLUTION: The inner surface coating apparatus for the steel pipe is characterized in that a hose 4 which is composed of a balloon 1 formed of a material having stretchability such as a rubber or the like and a bag 2 which covers the balloon 1 made of a flexible material with a high degree of freedom in deformation and connected to a gas access port 3 of the balloon, is guided outside of the steel pipe 5 to be coated and air is introduced into and out of the balloon 1 through the hose 4 by an air-pressure regulator installed outside of the steel pipe 5 to change the size or shape of the balloon 1 corresponding to the change in the diameter or the shape of the target steel pipe, and the inner surface coating apparatus is moved while applying proper pressure of the target steel pipe 5 by the balloon 1 through the cover bag 2 to perform coating. In the inner surface coating method of the steel pipe, the inner surface coating apparatus is moved by air streams formed by a suction method or a push-in method or the traction due to a rope.
