<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan drive control device capable of controlling reduction of life of a fan and generation of a noise and driving the fan with a good timing at the time of a steep load factor increase of a CPU. <P>SOLUTION: This drive control device of the fan 12 for cooling inside of an electric equipment having a CPU 11 comprises a switching means 14 which turns on/off drive power to the fan 12, a temperature detection IC 15 which detects an internal temperature of the electric equipment and controls turning on/off of the switching means 14 based on the detected value, and a load factor calculation means 16 which calculates a load factor of the CPU 11 by software.
