Thick plastic foam panels

Two or more panels of plastic foam, in particular non-fluorocarbon blown expanded polystyrene panels are combined to new panels not less than70 mm thick by using initial panels from which the skin has been removed at the contact surfaces. Adhesive is applied which has low resistance to water vapor diffusion and/or adhesive is applied over only part of the panel surface. Additional connection may be made with mechanical connectors.
