The system has a turbo group with a combustion chamber arranged in a gas path (9) that connects a compressor with a turbine. An exhaust gas recirculation device guides combustion exhaust gas of the turbine from an exhaust gas path (14) to a fresh gas path (13). A control device (17) controls the volume flow and/or temperature of the exhaust gas, such that a fresh gas-exhaust gas-mixture entering into the compressor has a preset reference temperature.
