<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shunt joint cap capable of enhancing the operability for priming process by making the process possible with the use of a blood pump and of simplifying a connected structure by reducing the number of auxiliary circuits. SOLUTION: In this shunt joint cap 30, which has an approximately cylindrical main body 31 with a through hole 33 therein and a lid 32 closing one of the openings of the through hole in the main body, and which is mounted on the end of a blood circulating circuit, both ends of the through hole 33 are formed into taper holes 33a, 33b that broaden outward, and the male connecting part of the blood circulating circuit can be connected to one of the taper holes, and the male connecting part of an auxiliary circuit to the other taper hole. Inside each taper hole, a checking mechanism preventing passage of priming liquid in a specific direction is provided.</p> |
