<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite sash, when covered with wooded material, which can be easily assembled/maintained while providing water resistance. <P>SOLUTION: Stile members of door stop stile 31, a meeting stile 32 and top and bottom stiles 34, for a sash 3 form a panel mounting groove 4 with a metallic stile member 3a of the outdoor side and a synthetic resin stile member 3b of the indoor side, so as to hold a sash panel G, while the synthetic resin stile member 3b is provided with a mounting part for a wooden stile member 3c on indoor side for attachably/detachably securing the wooden stile member 3c. Also, a metallic door stop stile 31a and a vertical frame member 21, metallic top and bottom stile members 33a, 34a and top and bottom frame member 33, 34, as well as synthetic resin top and bottom rail members 33b, 34b and top and bottom frame members 33, 34, mutually faces each other, wherein either one has a water-shutoff member abutting on the other.
