<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera for photographing a picture with superior balance of luminescence of a main object and night view. <P>SOLUTION: If a photography command is received under condition, in which night view portrait mode is set, an image sensor 16 generates non-flash image data with low resolution after changing the condition into high sensitivity condition by making pixel addition in a pixel addition output mode. The image sensor 16 generates flash image data with high resolution under low sensitivity condition without making pixel addition in the whole pixel output mode. A resolution conversion circuit 40 converts the resolution of non-flash image data and makes it agree with the flash image data. In an image synthesizing circuit 60, the non-flash image data and the flash image data with the same resolution are subjected to addition synthesis to generate recording image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
