PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor and a data processing method for suitably confirming the data of a specific user respectively stored by a plurality of devices in this system from any device in this system regardless of the status of another device. SOLUTION: A certain data processor in a data processing system stores information relating to data associated with a user and data associated with the user stored in its own device and another data processor under such conditions that the data associated with the user are stored. In this case, the user who has logged in the data processor is identified, and whether or not the data associated with the user are stored is decided, and when it is decided that the data are stored, the information relating to the data associated with the user stored in its own device and another data processor is acquired and displayed.
