PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil feeding device for a toroidal-type continuously variable transmission capable of securely supplying traction oil before start of a power source and eliminating useless supply of traction oil as much as possible. SOLUTION: Preliminary operation related to start of an engine 11 as the power source is detected by a detection means 1, and a control means 2 controls a supply mechanism 3 for traction oil when the preliminary operation is detected by the detection means 1 to start supply of traction oil for the toroidal-type continuously variable transmission 12. When the control means 2 supplies fixed amount of traction oil or a fixed period of time elapses while the engine 11 is not started, supply of traction oil is stopped. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
