PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation system capable of detecting an operation state of a ventilation fan connected to a network to control operation of a window connected to the network. SOLUTION: This ventilation system has a ventilation fan operation detecting means 62 detecting the operation state of the ventilation fan 60 for ventilating an indoor, a window opening and closing means 65 opening and closing the window 64, and a monitoring means 66 monitoring the operation state of the ventilation fan 60 and an opening and closing condition of the window 64. The ventilation fan operation detecting means 62, the window opening and closing means 65 and the monitoring means 66 are connected to each other via the network 67, the monitoring means 66 detects the operation state of the ventilation fan 60 to open and close the window 64, ventilation performance is thereby prevented from getting worse, and wiring and execution work are simplified because information is communicated through the network 67.
