PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC-DC converter circuit for preventing zero voltage switching from deviating, suppressing a high-frequency drive during a small load and reducing loss during the small load. SOLUTION: After off-timing toff, a drive switch is not turned on when a voltage Vx across the drive switch decreases and becomes zero first. The voltage Vx is oscillated by a resonance action of a main inductor and a resonance capacitor. When the voltage Vx increases due to oscillation and becomes zero again, on-timing ton is acquired. An off-time is extended by a resonance period. A frequency of an switching operation is prevented from increasing, and the switching loss decreases during the small load. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
