PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent partial loading of an engagement part with a speed change member of a shift fork by a simple structure avoiding increase of components, in regard to a shift fork for a transmission for axially driving a speed change member selectively establishing a speed stage in response to axial operation. SOLUTION: The shift fork 51 is comprised of a shift fork body 61 capable of operating in an axial direction in parallel with an operation axis of the speed change member 46, and having bifurcated engagement arm parts 61b, 61c engaging tips to an annular engagement groove 47 provided on an outer circumference of the speed change member 46, and a tip 62 swingably held in recessed parts 63 provided in the tips of both engagement arm parts 61b, 61c. The recessed part 63 is formed such that a shape in a cross section in parallel with a plane including at least operation axes of the speed change member 46 and the shift fork body 61, is like a circular arc.
