PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displacement regulation member capable of relatively easily securing a regulated interval for a head actuator and a recording medium. SOLUTION: Protrusions 44 face actuator arms 20 when the actuator arms 20 are located at a static position. Even if a large impact is applied to the actuator arms 20, the actuator arms 20 are received by the protrusions 44 when the actuator arms 20 are bent by prescribed displacement amount. Collisions are avoided between the actuator arms 20 and disks 13. The prescribed displacement amount is determined according to an interval d between the actuator arms 20 and the protrusions 44. Since the interval d is set on the basis of the protrusions 44, manufacturing precision, and time and effort can be reduced remarkably compared with when the entire flat surface is finished with high precision as in the conventional practice.
