PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw material for external use agent which utilizes a straining residue obtained by straining heated sweet potato. SOLUTION: The raw material for external use agent which utilizes a residue obtained by straining heated sweet potato, is provided. Also, an external use agent which uses the raw material for external use agent, is provided. The raw material for external use agent of this invention is easy to add to other base materials, contains a rich vegetable fiber, and furthermore, contains many functional components.
