PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pan-tilt camera capable of using a tarry lamp so as to develop a tarry display function and a warning display function on the occurrence of abnormality stop due to a failure in a cooling fan. SOLUTION: A microcomputer 29 controls the tarry lamp 27 to a lighting state when the cooling fan 31 is normally rotated in a camera photographing mode or a standby mode, the microcomputer 29 controls the tarry lamp 27 to an lighting state when the cooling fan 27 is normally rotated in the standby mode, and a discrimination circuit 33 outputs a blinking control signal from a blink control circuit 34 to a drive circuit 35 to apply blink control to the tarry lamp 27 when the discrimination circuit 33 detects abnormality stop on the basis of a signal from a rotary sensor 32 in the camera photographing mode or the standby mode.
